Yes it was another FUN FILLED night with a whole PILE of swing dancers on the big ass dance floor (NOOO I didnt say THAY had big asses!) to play to! Courtesy of Miss SHANNON! She rocks! The guys like her checkerboard skirt in the blacklight too!! lolol

Our good friend Ed Burrows was back...rockin the kit for a set or two! LOVE Ed...what a sweetheart and kick ass drummer!

And a surprise visit from Josephine &Steve Carter from Josephine's Machine! Damn they sounded good...she be sangin up a storm! And she didnt even play BASS....darnit but we enjoyed her show! and the two of us sang together....sweet! Somewhere there are pics of her & I together...check on Facebook later :)
Steve treated us to some slammin geetar playin...behind his head no less!
We also had appearances from Jody Young on guitar & vocals (blues master extraordinaire!!) and Wiley & the Dawg blew some harp!

This mare is NOT going to SLAUGHTER! Thanks to the efforts of a bunch of hard working volunteers with ANOTHER CHANCE FOR HORSES (www.ac4h.com) I saw her on Facebook and raised the money to BAIL HER OUT and working on raising SHIPPING costs and hopefully a lil extra to get her TEETH done, a microchip, and a few things to spoil her like a new HALTER, BLANKET,  and other neat goodies that a loved and spoiled horse deserves! Maybe I will make her a wish list once she gets home and we get her a PROPER NAME!!

OMG we rescued a new HORSE!!

This gorgeous girl was on a killbroker lot in Pennsylvania! That means she was on her way to the SLAUGHTERHOUSE over the border in either Canada or Mexico where they still DO that barbaric CRAP! YEEESH! I have been watching via Facebook several Rescue organizations that do GREAT work EVERY SINGLE WEEK saving horses just like her! ALL ages, breeds you can imagine. People that can no longer afford their horses just send them off to auction without a thought as to where they will end up! I couldnt IMAGINE! If i EVER EVER had to sell my Saffire...(and this wont happen if I have ANYTHING to say about it!)...I would have to have extensive interviews with new owners and stay in touch with them forever....KINDA like Margo...who I bought Saffy from...she gets to see what we do and pics of Saff so Im sure its comforting to know your pet goes to a loving home.
Anyways...been watching for months and wishing we could get a 2nd horse forebber! when outta NOWHERE SHAZAMMMMM I made it happen! I fundraised her bail in one night at my Ringside gig!! NOW....I still need to fundraise for her TRANSPORTATION to get her to FLORIDA!!
I got my lowest quote at $600 and I am trying to book that!!

GREAT PLAYERS last night at the JAM! WHEW!!

WOW!! How Awesome is all I can say about  the showing of STELLAR musicians to the GUNSLINGERS BLUES JAM last night!

It was so busy that even I....forgot to break out my handy phone cam the 1st part of the JAM ...as I was trying to organize (YIKES!) all  the playas! SOOOO I missed photo ops of MAGIC MIKE's set....ED BURROWS on drums...the magnificent PAUL ANTHONY played guitar and sang!! and man o man CARROLL ST CLAIR was SMOKIN that b3!! geez! Where was the dang FIRE EXTINGUISHER??
TOMMY MCCOY let me join him on a couple tunes with GLENN EVANS on drums...

Hey Everybody! I just started this new jam a few weeks ago at Gunslingers in Largo,Fl....
and it's going GREAT! We got the SOULSHAKERS as the hosting band....featuring RED on guitar, Duane on drums, Jeff the Count Artabasy on bass and Dennis TORPEDO on the B3!!
