Hello and oh my friends!! Ive been absent for a couple weeks...I know I know! Relief for ALL! ha ha!

BUT Im BACK! Ive been busy taking care of Memphis...the black beauty new rescue horse.....
She has had her feet done...her teeth done (THANKS to Advanced Equine Dentistry for DONATING their services!!)...vet check....etc etc.
As it turns out she has a bit of an injury in her hind legs and may need up to 8 months to heal before we can trail ride her...but...she is a wonderful, sweet loving beautiful horse!
Also I am close to raising the funds on our SECOND rescue from the same killpen in New Holland,PA.
Through the efforts of Another Chance 4 Horses these horses are indeed getting a second chance at life!
I didnt really have the upfront money to pay the bail and shipping....but i couldnt sit on the sidelines and watch any longer. I DO have land and alot of love and the ability and time to care for them and feed them....so I decided to put the word out and try and raise the funds to get them home to me and pay some of the start up expenses....
NOW I am seriously considering starting an official rescue....so I can save more n more horses...and re home them to qualified homes.
We are only $200 shy of our mark on getting the 2nd horse home....after raising $1200 this week.

Thanks also to my good friend Lisa Port Brothers of Hawthorne Stables for ALL her support and help! She not only rescued her beautiful mare Penny and many dogs...but will be giving a stall to the new horse for a time.... She is a woderful photographer...she took the shots of me & Memphis and is for hire!! Love you Lisa!!
